Council Moves to Award Project Tenders for the Construction of the Newcastle, Midland, North Drumheller Grove Plaza, and Willow Estates Berms

DRUMHELLER, AB – (August 2, 2022) – On August 2, 2022, the DRFMO presented RFDs (requests for decisions) regarding their recommendations for tender awards for the Newcastle, Midland, North Drumheller Grove Plaza, and Willow Estates berm construction projects. All of the RFD recommendations were approved by Mayor and Council, with the construction project tenders being awarded as follows:

 

Request for Decision: Recommendation of Tender Awards: Newcastle Berm Construction

Mayor and Council moved that the Newcastle Berm tender be awarded to Pidherney’s Inc. in the amount of $2,269,114.16 excluding G.S.T.


Request for Decision: Recommendation of Tender Awards: Midland Berm Construction

Mayor and Council moved that the Midland Berm tender be awarded to Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc. in the amount of $3,786,125.00 excluding G.S.T.


Request for Decision: Recommendation of Tender Awards: North Drumheller Grove Plaza Berm Construction

Mayor and Council moved that the North Drumheller Grove Plaza Berm tender be awarded to Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc. in the amount of $786,350.00 excluding G.S.T.

 

Request for Decision: Recommendation of Tender Awards: Willow Estates Berm Construction

Mayor and Council moved that the Willow Estates tender be awarded to Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc. in the amount of $2,950,925.00 excluding G.S.T.
