The Resiliency and Flood Mitigation Office is busy preparing for Spring Flood Season. On Family Day we participated in activities with Morris The-Hike-Asaurus, distributing activity books to educate our younger residents on the importance of preparing family 72-hour kits.
On Thursday, February 20, you may notice some activity along the river. We will be conducting a technical tour on snowmobile, reviewing conditions of our existing mitigation berms and identifying key areas for spring maintenance.
We also encourage residents to replenish their family 72-hour kits with fresh supplies or prepare a 72-hour kit if you don’t already have one.
Click here for some tips for preparing your kit.
