The Municipal Development Plan & Land Use Bylaw Neighborhood Information Sessions
Posted on Oct. 8 2020Join representatives from the Drumheller Resiliency and Flood Mitigation Office, Town Council, and Palliser Regional Municipal Services (PRMS) for a presentation on the new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB). These information sessions will also include descriptions of how flood mitigation impacts land use planning, how the proposed new MDP and LUB will affect the Drumheller Valley, and a brief question and answer period.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there is limited occupancy for each session. Attendance is first-come, first-serve. Please do not attend more than one session, and please do not send more than one member of your household so we can allow as many people as possible to join us. Masks are encouraged as this event is being held indoors.
Need a ride? Contact Valley Bus Society at (403) 823-1319 to arrange pick up and drop off at the event. The bus asks riders to wear masks and not to ride if feeling unwell, the buses are fully sanitized between riders.

Please note these sessions are not focused on berm alignments or how flood mitigation impacts individual homes. This information is still not yet available. These sessions are focused on how these new planning documents will affect the long-term vision of the Valley.
A public hearing will be held Monday, October 26 at 5:30 pm.
