Update on River Levels - June 1
Posted on Jun. 1 2020Please use caution when approaching the Red Deer River. Due to the rains on Sunday, approaches to the river for boating and fishing will be very slippery this week. The river is not expected to go above 200 cubic meters per second (cms), which is still higher than normal for this time of year.
The Glenifer Lake Reservoir at the Dickson Dam is at 54% capacity. The snow pillow at Skoki Lodge is down about 1 metre from one week ago.
We encourage you to download the AB Rivers app on your phone and become familiar with the forecasters comments tab as it is an excellent source of information.
