Last month we held a series of neighbourhood information sessions across the Drumheller Valley, reaching more than 500 residents. We’d like to thank everyone who attended and provided their valuable input.

We were listening, and have worked through everyone’s comments. Your feedback has been a valuable guide as we revise and improve the drafts of the proposed new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB).

We’ve put together a “What We Heard” report that is now publicly available. This document summarizes changes to the proposed new LUB and MDP resulting from the collective review of the first draft. The second version of both documents have now been shared with the public for additional review and feedback. The second reading successfully passed on November 23, 2020 and we expect the third reading to occur before the end of this year.
