Safety Notice: Unauthorized Entry into Construction Sites

Posted on May. 4 2023

Dear residents of Drumheller,

We understand that the ongoing Flood Mitigation Project is a matter of concern for many of you. While we appreciate your interest in the project and your desire to voice your feedback, we want to remind everyone of the risks associated with entering construction work sites.

Construction sites are hazardous areas, and unauthorized access can pose a significant threat to personal safety. The Town of Drumheller and its contractors have safety protocols in place to ensure that workers and visitors are safe while on the site. These safety measures include safety gear, barricades, and warning signs.

We urge all residents to respect these safety protocols and avoid entering the construction site without proper authorization. Any unauthorized entry into a construction site can result in serious injury or harm to oneself and others.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Flood Mitigation Project or the safety protocols in place, please feel free to contact us at floodreadiness@drumheller.ca
