The Town of Drumheller takes all incidents of aggressive, violent, or abusive nature against our staff very seriously.

All town employees and those contracted by the town have the right to a safe and respectful work environment whether they are in a Town building, working outdoors, or working from another office location.

We recognize that this has been a very challenging time and that the nature of the circumstances can be very emotional. We understand that individuals may at times express themselves in a less than ideal manner, including using profanity, insults, and accusations. However, violent, abusive, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

We will continue to strive to ensure that all residents are treated with fairness, integrity, and respect in our interactions with members of our community and we expect the same in return.

Interfering with construction work will not be tolerated by the Town and enforcement action will be taken if necessary.
